Marcia Weber Art Objects Policies

How to purchase art from the gallery:

Please contact us by phone (334) 262-5349, e-mail, or through the contact form available on all artwork pages to purchase works presented here, or to request further information. Please note the inventory number of the desired piece, which can be found in the caption below each photograph, in parentheses after the price. This helps us to identify which specific piece you're seeking.

We accept all major credit cards as well as checks. For security reasons, we'd rather you did not send your credit card number via e-mail or through the contact form. Please call with that information, or if you prefer to send us your phone number, we will call you at your convenience. The voice mail of the gallery is also a secure way to leave your credit card information.

We will need to verify your desired shipping address for Federal Express (this cannot be a PO box) as well as the billing address of your credit card.

If you wish to pay by check, payment can be sent to the address at the top of this page. Your requested art will be placed on hold, and shipped when your payment clears, which usually takes around 10 business days. Shipping policies are described below, and we prefer to charge shipping costs to a credit card, as these are determined by FedEx upon shipping. If you will e-mail me your phone number then I will call you or you can call me at your convenience at (334) 262-5349 or my cell number, (334) 220-5349. This is best for ensuring your credit card information remains safe.

We offer a money back agreement for purchased artworks. If the piece is not perfect for you, it may be returned within ten days for a full refund. No tax is due for purchases shipped outside Alabama.

Layaway policy:

We are willing to work with you so that you are comfortable with a payment arrangement which allows you to own art that you love. Here is our "normal" policy: We are happy to do layaways for a minimum deposit of 25% of the total purchase (non-refundable in the event of default of payment) to secure the art. The remainder may be paid in monthly installments over the next 2 or 3 months. We will be happy to work with you in purchasing artwork. The art will be shipped to you upon completion of all payments and shipping costs will be billed or charged to your credit card or billed to you when our bill arrives from Fed Ex.

Shipping information:

We normally ship works by Federal Express 2nd or 3rd day within 24 hours of the purchase. Someone will need to sign for the delivery of your art. There is a small fee for a residential delivery.

We wait until we get our bill from Fed Ex (about 3 weeks) before charging the exact amount of your shipment. We then send you a copy of the Fed Ex receipt as well as your credit card receipt.

If you'd like to pay by check, we will ship your purchase when your check clears which delays the process by about 10 days. We need an e-mail address, if possible, to inform you that your art has been shipped and to share your tracking number. If you pay for your art by check, we greatly appreciate having a credit card number to charge the Fed Ex shipping in a few weeks.

If you have your own account with Fed Ex you can provide us with the account number for shipping charges if you prefer. Due to the volume shipped by the gallery, we receive a 16% discount on Fed Ex's normal shipping rates.

If you have any questions, please just ask. We thank you for shopping with us!

To artists seeking gallery representation:

Thank you for your interest in having your art represented by this gallery. Right now we are accepting very few new artists; perhaps one or less each year. This is due to having a stable group of artists that have been part of the gallery since its beginning in 1991 and due to having limited space to adequately take good care of much more art. We will never close our door to new talent, but we want to be "up front" with all artists, that there is only a very small chance that we will have an opening for a new artist.

Please do not mail us samples of your work without a return postage envelope if you would like to have your samples returned. We review this material when time permits. Please do not visit us at shows to show us your art. If we would like to see your art, in person, at the Montgomery gallery, then we will contact you for an appointment. Thank you for your understanding.
